A Rare Interview With ROBERT ANTON WILSON
In the latest episode of the “RocknRoll and Occult” podcast, PRAGMAGICK, listeners are treated to a rare interview with the late writer, philosopher and mystic, ROBERT ANTON WILSON.

Wilson is a paragon within the metaphysical, conspiratorial and agnostic communities, famed for his metaphysical primers, PROMETHEUS RISING and THE COSMIC TRIGGER as well as the infamous ILLUMINATUS! TRILOGY (with Robert Shea). ILLUMINATUS! (which popularized the satirical religion, DISCORDIANISM) predated America’s modern obsession with conspiracy theories by decades.
PRAGMAGICK host, REVEL ROSZ, chose to commemorate the tenth episode by showcasing this rare 1991 Wilson appearance not only because it deserves exposure, but because it’s proof of his own deep ties to the metaphysical community: This 1991 interview was filmed and conducted by ROSZ’s father, artist and novelist TOM ROSS.

Not only was Wilson a fixture during his father’s time at writer MARILYN FERGUSON’s (The Aquarian Conspiracy) compound in the early 90’s; the infamous TIMOTHY LEARY, psychonaut JOHN C. LILLY and ALDOUS HUXLEY’s wife, LAURA HUXLEY, were just a few of the many icons that loomed large within ROSS’ metaphysical community back then.
